Boulter Industrial Contractors, Inc. is proud to welcome Dan White to the team as our new Marketing and Business Development Specialist. In this role, Dan will help drive Boulter’s strategic marketing initiatives, support long-term growth, and strengthen our position as the region’s premier specialty industrial contractor.
Dan brings a strong background in sales and marketing, with experience rooted in Rochester’s high-tech and manufacturing communities.“I began my career in sales and marketing in the miniature motion systems industry, working for a Rochester-based company that supported the medical, optics, and photonics markets,” Dan shared. “I later advanced into a role with a local industrial automation and robotics company, contributing to both business development and marketing initiatives. These experiences strengthened my sales and marketing expertise while giving me a deep understanding of the industrial landscape that Boulter serves today.”
When asked what attracted him to Boulter, Dan pointed to the company’s longstanding impact on the community. “Boulter’s reputation and history in the Greater Rochester region stood out to me immediately,” he said. “With over 133 years of experience, Boulter has rigged, hauled, and lifted anything in the industry worth doing.”
Dan credits his first customer service job as a defining moment in his career.“My first job taught me how valuable it is to truly understand and support your customers,” he said. “That mindset has carried through every role I’ve held, and I’m excited to strengthen that focus here at Boulter.”
Outside of work, you can find Dan on the golf course with friends or exploring local breweries.
“My favorite brewery is Mortalis Brewing Co. I love their variety—sours, stouts, and IPAs,” he said.
A self-proclaimed whiskey connoisseur, Dan also enjoys collecting different types and brands of whiskey. On his bucket list? A trip to Europe, specifically Bosnia and Croatia.
Dan’s combination of marketing expertise, customer-first mindset, and enthusiasm for the industrial space makes him a strong addition to Boulter’s growing team. "I’m thrilled to be part of a company with such a rich history and an exciting future,” he said.
